### ⚖️ Why Compliance Matters

All mobile operators require registration.\
This verifies who you are and what you’re sending — helping protect customers from spam and keeping your campaigns trusted and deliverable.

> 💡 *Compliance = protection. It ensures your brand’s messages are verified, approved, and reliably delivered.*

### 🏢 Step 1: Brand Registration

**Goal:** Verify your business identity with mobile operators.

#### What You’ll Need

* Legal business name and DBA (if applicable)
* Employer Identification Number (EIN or tax ID)
* Full business address and phone number
* Live website (matching your business name and domain)
* Privacy Policy and Terms of Service
* An example of how customers will opt-in to your messaging (e.g. QR code, script, text xxxx)

#### How It Works

1. Your Customer Success Manager will share a **secure form** to collect your brand details.
2. nativeMsg submits your brand for registration
3. Once approved, your brand receives a **brand ID** — this is required for all message campaigns.

> 💬 *We’ll notify you when your brand is verified.*

### 🧾 Step 2: Message Content Requirements

Carriers require certain message elements to ensure transparency and compliance. These are examples. Removing any of these defaults will result in your messaging capabilities being turned off by mobile operators.

| Requirement | Description | Example |
| ------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------- |
| **Brand Identification** | Clearly identify your company name | “Thanks for signing up with **nativeMsg**!” |
| **Opt-In Language** | Make sure recipients explicitly agree to receive messages | “Reply YES to receive updates.” |
| **Opt-Out Option** | Must include a way to stop messages | “Reply STOP to opt out.” |
| **HELP Command** | Must include an info response | “Reply HELP for assistance.” |
| **Link Transparency** | Avoid public shorteners (bit.ly, tinyurl) | Use your verified domain link instead |
| **Privacy Policy** | Include working URL | `www.yourcompany.com/privacy` |
| **Terms of Service** | Include working URL | `www.yourcompany.com/tos` |

> ✅ *We’ll help you review and approve these before launch.*

### 🧠 Common Reasons for Rejection

| Issue | Why It Happens | How to Fix |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| Missing brand details | Business info incomplete | Double-check EIN/tax ID and address |
| Mismatched URLs | Domain doesn’t match brand name | Use company domain (not generic) |
| No STOP/HELP response | Message flow incomplete | Contact <support@nativemsg.com> |
| Shortened links | Public redirectors discouraged | Use full URL |
